Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Exchange Messaging – Active Top Secret Required

How a Senior Principal Systems Engineer will make an Impact:

SME level support for large deployments of Microsoft Exchange environments and messaging systems across multiple classification levels.   

Manage, maintain, and upgrade existing Microsoft Exchange servers.

Troubleshoot complex problems in Microsoft Exchange environments.

Implement backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity.

Participate in system design and changes related to Microsoft Exchange.

Collaborate with other engineers to enhance email systems.

Providing technical support to end users for software and/or hardware issues. 

Serving as technical and functional training expert. 

Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions. 

Presenting clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions. 

What You’ll need to Succeed:

Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline required.  MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related disciplines preferred. 

Required Experience: 17+ years 

Required Technical Skills: DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance 

Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; Strong problem-solving skills 

Preferred Skills: Experience with Microsoft Server 2022 

Location: Washington, District of Columbia; limited telework may be available

The likely salary range for this position is $154,960 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
