**Job Summary**
The Solution Architect is responsible for the design of technology solutions in support of core business functions by evaluating end user needs, client goals, budgets and existing applications to define system requirements and technical standards. The successful candidate must have technical experience with Tracking Systems for Energy Efficiency and Electric Vehicle programs along with customer facing applications. The selected candidate will serve as an expert for the systems & platform architecture domain and maintain a broad understanding of the other architecture domains (e.g. Business, Application, Data, and Security domains).
This position serves as PSEG Solution Architect for CES (Clean Energy Solution). This position is involved in the full technology life cycle. The person will leverage the knowledge and experience to maximize the value of existing CES assets and create strategy to support CES investments which includes EE, EV, Solar & Energy Storage. The role requires extensive collaboration with vendors, analysts, IT teams and business users to define requirements, design processes and build solutions within the overall enterprise architecture and Cyber standards. The position will be responsible for driving the completion of all CES related programs. This position needs to provide technical expertise in RFP process.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Design, manage and maintain systems/architecture artifacts and seek approvals from relevant stakeholders. Develop roadmaps and capability models
+ Provides support and leadership to inform and aid evaluation and decision making in technology spending
+ Work with outside vendors, manage relationships and help develop and integrate new products and solutions
+ The architect will be responsible for driving the completion of all CES related programs.
+ Trouble shooting and resolving issues promptly on systems and platforms including Cyber related issues
+ Researches architectural paradigms and modern architecture constructs. Learns how processes such as continuous delivery or technologies such as micro services impact technology architecture.
**Job Specific Qualifications**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Information Sciences.
+ Minimum of 10 years relevant experience within the information technology field or an industry with reliance on technical expertise.
+ Experience with EE Tracking system, Demand Side Management (DSM) systems (such as Nexant, ANB systems, AEG, Energy Orbit, Dynamic DSM, or similar) is a must.
+ Candidates with experience working with “ANB systems” Tracking System will be given preference.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills through experience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiences and proven experience supporting and coaching other solution architects
+ Provides support and leadership to inform and aid evaluation and decision making in technology spending
+ 5+ years solution architecture experience with proven experience designing solutions for core business functions in utility platforms
+ 5+ years of experience with designing software & hardware solutions used in large enterprises including New Technologies, Customer CRM(i.e Salesforce), Analytics/Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions
+ Strong experience with aligning project solutions to overall corporate enterprise architecture
+ Knowledge on Cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
+ Has working knowledge of SalesForce Environment
+ Experience in maintaining Data lake environment including Data Pipeline, Data Extraction , Data Reporting (Power BI) in AWS environment
Desired:
+ Advanced degree, e.g. Masters of Information Technology
+ Discipline Certifications (i.e. Technical certifications ITIL, AWS, Power BI, SalesForce/Experience Cloud)
+ Experience in Platforms relates to Energy Efficiency
