Our Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization Solutions (LSMS) group is seeking a Sr. Principal Test Engineer (Level 4) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, OK. You will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively developing Avionics Testing Solutions, Specialized Test Equipment, and platform modifications to modernize systems for the B-2 Stealth Bomber, LGM-35A Sentinel Missile, E-3 AWACS, and various other platforms.
Responsibilities:
Leads the design, development, and implementation of testing methods and equipment
Generates test plans and procedures
Arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluation
Develops necessary test parameters and specifies tests to be performed in order to verify system and subsystem requirements
Compiles data and composes test reports
Identifies changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements
Responsible for development of supplier SOWs and coordinating with vendors to perform specialty tests
Responsible for the development of Test Engineering BOE's for capture efforts
Mentor, train, and guide junior engineers in all of the responsibilities above
Act as a primary project POC between the test engineering team, management, and the PMO
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and 9 years of relevant experience; 7 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD
Proficient ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance & specific program access
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in verification and validation or test engineering
Previous Systems Engineering experience
Demonstrated proficiency with SysML, DoDAF, Cameo, and DOORs
Current Active DoD Secret security clearance
Proficiency with test data logging and data analysis
Proficiency using MATLAB
Experience in an Agile (SAFe) development environment
Salary Range: $102,200.00 - $153,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
