About the Role;
Protecting the privacy of our community is crucial to Twitch. The Privacy team builds, maintains, and continually improves our global privacy program, and engenders trust with our users and business partners. We need the right people, policies, products, and tools to help us achieve our mission. We are looking for a talented, skilled, solution-minded privacy professional to help us achieve that goal. Are you that person?

As a Senior Privacy Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Product and Privacy Counsel. You will develop and mature our privacy program and work on areas such as advertising privacy, data protection, and compliance. You will join and work with a team composed of legal counsel, engineers, product managers, data scientists, support agents, and more.

You can work in San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or Seattle, WA

You Will
- Lead and implement privacy by design strategies across Twitch, partnering with stakeholders in Product, Trust and Safety, and other organizations on the development and release of new products and features;
- Conduct risk assessments and establish effective controls and solutions to monitor and maintain privacy program integrity, focusing on areas like contracts, consent management, and data subject rights;
- Support privacy incident response efforts;
- Develop and oversee privacy metrics and reporting systems that provide transparent insights on program performance, engaging both internal teams and external stakeholders;
- Create and maintain essential privacy documentation and design role-specific privacy training programs to ensure consistent understanding and compliance across the organization;
- Support regulatory compliance and engagement efforts;
- Understand privacy opportunities and how they can be applied within Twitch and for the Twitch community.
