Develops, maintains and ensures compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance. Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications. Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly. Establishes and ensures that inspections are conducted prior to the processing of raw materials, ingredients, product and package specifications, frequently at vendor/supplier locations. May serve as liaison between the company and the various governmental agencies .
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree +8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree +6 years of relevant experience or PhD +4 years of relevant experience.
-Ability to process and analyze data quickly to identify areas for improvement opportunities
-Experience with non-conformance and Corrective Action Processes
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong leadership, assertiveness, facilitation, interpersonal, and virtual communication skills
-Experience with reporting and metrics
-Current DOD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with internal auditing for quality management system
-Intermediate knowledge of the DCMA 8210.1 C/D
-Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems
Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
