ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for the purchase of goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. Will hold responsibility for a specific project/program/region/business and hold a broader presence of project management with defined time-lines/production schedules overseeing functions within: purchasing, planning, sourcing and operations. Manage complex requirements and meeting internal client objectives while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness to ensure parts are delivered to the customer on-time. Directly interact with internal stakeholders and with external suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Be part of a team that will own and manage complex requirements to ensure innovative, cost-effective means to improve supplier relationships, driving delivery fidelity, production control output and continuous improvements working with Suppliers, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing and Manufacturing to ensure quarterly revenue targets are met and the product is delivered on-time to the customer
+ Includes purchasing goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply
+ Coordinating with Purchasing, Planning and global Honeywell manufacturing plants to identify and adequately develop resolution to improve Build of Material (BOM) part shortages required to complete the end assembly part
+ Directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external suppliers
+ Partner with the factory operations in providing direction that ensures product is coordinated, monitored and completes the production cycle according to schedule
+ Review MPS plans in between execution and planning window to identify shortages for assigned outlines (0-13 weeks)
+ Drive a daily cadence with clear issues, actions, owners, and timing (cross functional reviews required), and develop recovery plans
+ Hold cross functional teams accountable, be comfortable in escalating to higher level Leadership when to resolve barriers
+ Identify & engage procurement partner (Buyer/Planner) for internal/external supply gaps based on escalation triggers
+ Identify opportunities and develop business justification to support internal allocations of finished goods needed to ensure revenue targets are met. • Identify & engage internal teams for internal supply gaps based on escalation triggers
+ Ensure parts are loaded into Command Center and attend the war room/sunrise review meetings for updates and escalations
+ Identify & engage FSR leaders for help with long-term supplier issues requiring escalated systemic support and recovery measures
+ Identify & engage Rate Readiness leaders for help with longer term recovery (RR outlines only)
+ Support planners with Customer Ops as requested with supplier recovery details
+ Travel - Less than 25% (US/Mexico/Europe/Asia)
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
MUST HAVES
+ 3+ years of Procurement experience

+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Relevant experience within Supply Chain, Sourcing, Production Planning, Purchasing, Project Management or Program Management
+ Planning, negotiations, and agreements/contract management experience
+ Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
+ College degree B.S., MBA in Supply Chain, Purchasing or equivalent work related experience
+ Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) – Intermediate
+ Knowledge of purchasing/ERP systems (SAP highly desired) – Intermediate
+ Strong communication skills and a team player
+ Good organizational - ability to prioritize and do problem solving, fair amount of years of experience in supply chain, project/program management, purchasing, planning, operations or customer service
+ English fluent, any other language is a plus
