Builds strong relationships of trust with customer base through transparent communication, delivery of promises, and responsiveness to requests.Oversee company funded activity including financial metrics associated with materials and advanced propulsion projects.Creates and shapes opportunities for contracted technology research towards Edison Works strategic materials and advanced technology propulsion capabilities.Lead proposals to compete for and win external funding for materials and advanced turbomachinery development for tech development, test, and manufacturing programs.Identify and champion improvements in how we operate productively including Implementing standard work through lean principles.Requires strong military awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.Requires experience with proposal development and program management.Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers.
