Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney’s media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, network transmission and origination, and more. The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.

Content Platforms is part of the Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology  (DEEPT) segment which is responsible for The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including the ESPN+ sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; Disney+, the Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service; global advertising sales and ad technology for all of Disney’s media properties, including ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX Networks, National Geographic and the Disney Channels; Hotstar, the leading over-the-top streaming service in India; and the Company’s majority ownership stake in Hulu.

Job Summary:

The Content Platforms’ Avails Team is looking for a Product Manager to guide the development, execution and success of products that enable rights distribution of The Walt Disney Company’s amazing content through channels such as Disney+, Hulu, and licensing partners. You will play a key role in defining the future of the content supply chain that powers the distribution of Disney content across the globe.

Acting as the bridge between the business stakeholders, design and engineering, you will define product strategy, translate customer needs into product features, and drive cross-functional teams towards delivering high-impact solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, user empathy, prioritization abilities to balance innovation, business value, and technical feasibility. Success in fast-paced, collaborative settings and attention to detail are essential.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $138,900 to $186,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
