With general direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment and discretion, this position will gather business information and mold it into actionable decisions for Product. As a Sr Product Manager, you will work cross functionally with technology, sales, marketing, operations, and product development on road mapping and launch strategies. You will play a key role in defining product capabilities and how to satisfy real-world customer needs. In addition to delivering value to our external users, you will be responsible to support our service delivery teams. This focus on service delivery extends to finding ways to build self-service capabilities into our applications and solutions. You will be the primary connection between strategic product leaders and product capabilities needed to achieve outcomes. You must have a proven track record of successful product management in a service-oriented business.

 

What you’ll be doing 

Work with one or more engineering teams to deliver timely, quality releases that provide high business value and exceed customer expectationsCollaborate with technical engineering leadership to ensure key architectural roadmap items are represented in the product backlogParticipate in all phases of product planning and development - Assist in the management of our Agile ProcessesSupport the effort in gathering and breaking down feature requirements into deliverable product incrementsEngage with internal teams (Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, and Product Management) to understand and qualify opportunities for platform reliability, operational efficiency, and modernizationOwn end-to-end product management responsibilities including discovery, market analysis, requirements gathering, and collaboration with the engineering team to deliver & launch.Create and manage product roadmaps, product specifications, and own the execution end to endDrive consensus and decision-making and prioritize the technical services roadmap using qualitative and quantitative dataDevelop technical product specifications covering value, use cases, scenarios, and features for products to improve the technology platformWork with Agile processes to document requirements as user storiesDeliver non-functional requirements of the system including application telemetry, performance, reliability, resiliency, and securityClarify requirements and remove obstacles for Software EngineeringEnsure delivery of roadmap features

 

What you will need to be successful

Education and Experience:

Deep knowledge of technical software development processes, either through professional software engineering experience or computer science coursework5 years professional experience as a technical product manager or product manager with at least one entire product development cycle from ideation to launch

 

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong technical understanding- Example: C#, SQL, and Azure Devops (ADO)Understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and modern service-oriented architecture designsDemonstrated business acumen that enables decision making around problem-solving and prioritizationExperience working in an Agile software environmentExceptional listening, written, presentation and verbal communication skills - A strong customer service orientation is essential.Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must.Strong analytical skills: ability to process data into actionable information and ability to consider the complexity and cost of different approaches to problemsClear written and verbal communication skills

 

Physical/Mental Requirements and Demands:

Work requires normal range of hearing, vision and verbal communication skills, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be able to spend prolonged periods of each workday on the phoneThe ability to perform work at a computer station for 6-8+ hours a day and function in an environment with frequent interruptions is required.Must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbsMay experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.

Salary Range $115000.00 To $150000.00 / year Benefits & Perks

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives and restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range in addition to a full range of benefits including:
