Job OverviewIn this position you will bring your experience and strategic thought leadership to lead business engagements in identifying and defining data, analytics & AI (DAI) initiatives that solve business needs, drive business transformation, and create sustainable financial impact. You will be responsible for shaping the demand of DAI ideas, defining the multi-year product roadmap, and driving user adoption of Enterprise solutions and adherence to DAI standards and best practices.
Business Engagement
Engage with the business leaders, understand challenges, and identify opportunities where analytics can have tangible impact on their strategic priorities. Drive a business-first mindset, ensuring that DAI initiatives deliver tangible business outcomes. Serve as a trusted advisor to business teams & leaders in data, analytics, and AI topics.DAI Demand & Product Management
Partner with business leaders to identify high-value analytics, data science, and AI opportunities. Conduct ideation workshops if needed. Develop, own, and drive analytics product roadmaps aligning analytics capabilities with business strategic initiatives, processes, timelines, and funding cycles. Balance short term business priorities with long term Enterprise vision. Scope out analytics use cases, develop convincing business case for each identified use case, prepare business case document, and bring it to qualification and prioritization process to approval to develop new capability or enhancement. Define, track, and analyze KPIs for DAI products, and gather user feedback to make informed decisions on product roadmaps. Build trust and partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, product management, IT etc.) to ensure analytics capabilities are deployed on time within budget and widely adopted. Make the “best” product decisions while managing budget, timeline, user, and senior management expectations.Enterprise Data Platform Adoption
Act as a strategic advisor on data governance, data integration and BI/AI self-service through the Enterprise platform. Understand business’s data needs and drive the adoption of consuming data products through our Enterprise platform. Partner with data technology and platform team to enhance data accessibility, governance, and security.Legacy Data Systems Reduction
Collaborate with business users to retire legacy data platforms and data copies, and transition to modern, scalable data solutions. Define and track KPIs for legacy system decommissioning and ensure smooth data migrations. Partner with IT, data engineering, and business teams to streamline data architecture and optimize infrastructure costs.DAI Literacy & Building Communities
Lead functional DAI literacy initiatives to ensure business leaders and teams are speaking the same DAI language and confident in using data for decision-making. Define and implement a training strategy to enable self-service analytics, AI adoption, and data-driven decision-making at all levels. Foster a data culture by driving awareness, best practices, and success stories Build strong user communities around deployed analytics products and determine ways to drive continued and increased adoption of products. What your background should look like:Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics or other related quantitative fields
10+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, with a strong track record of business engagement and functional expertise in finance, procurement, HR. Proven experience in building strategic plans and analytics product roadmaps in a technical or business domain, and product management methodologies and best practices. Excellent influencing and leadership skills to connect and engage senior executives and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organisation. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders and get buy-in for DAI investments. Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of business intelligence (BI) and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and technologies. This is required for this role. Concise verbal and written communication skills to explain complex BI/AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience in driving and managing change in business for DAI initiatives. Experience in data & AI governance, data democratization, and regulatory compliance. MBA or minor in Business, Engineering, or Finance related discipline, or relevant experience in these areas Experience or accountability in managing a P&L statement for a DAI product. Knowledge of modern data architectures (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP). Strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks. COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $162,300-243,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
