What you’ll do:
HMH is looking for a new addition to the team of dynamic marketers at HMH. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, International Markets creates and executes data-driven marketing plans that speak to customers’ needs, tell the HMH story, and ultimately drive revenue.
You will work directly with the HMH International sales team and be responsible for developing, planning, and executing on lead generation and customer marketing campaign activity that aligns with regional and global sales initiatives. You will understand the requirements of regional and country teams and will implement marketing campaigns, localized as needed, that build pipeline.
You will collaborate with US-based product managers, channel and creative marketing colleagues, and more teams across the organization. You will use insights from these teams as well as market research to bring the customer voice to all campaigns.
Additionally, you will work closely with our reseller community – engaging with in-region campaign activities, managing sales enablement, and managing an online portal. You will enable our sales team and resellers with resources, tools and organize training to equip them with the knowledge and content needed to be successful.
You will manage the international conference and event calendar, proactively securing presence at key regional association events, and prepare the sales team with appropriate resources to represent HMH, track lead routing, overall effectiveness and analyse ROI.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
• Experience – Minimum of 4 years marketing experience in creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns through multiple channels that drive demand. Preferably international campaigns.
• Results Driven – Develop and execute sales readiness plan to ensure HMH sales team and resellers can successfully position, market, and demonstrate HMH solutions.
• Problem-Solver – Creative problem-solver who is flexible, proactive, and solutions-oriented; can juggle multiple projects and pivot quickly based on internal or external stakeholder needs.
• Data Driven – Use data and analytics to gauge effectiveness of campaigns to continuously improve campaign strategies and tactics.
• Team Player – Collaborate on campaign strategy with cross-functional teams and will exude the daily energy and optimism needed to communicate internally and to the customer.
• Creativity – Partner with Marketing colleagues to develop compelling promotional content such as brochures, event material, and videos. Develop compelling customer-focused messaging that sparks interest and differentiates HMH solutions.
• Organizer – Exemplary written and oral communication skills. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, and Adobe solutions. Detail oriented in planning campaigns and event logistics.
• Influencer – Maintain strong, ongoing channels of communication with key internal stakeholders and build on reseller relations to make it easier for our reseller network to choose to work with HMH.
• Education - BA/BS
Preferred skills/education/experience/working knowledge
• K-12 edtech marketing experience • Experience supporting sales partners/resellers
• Prior experience working with resellers in a marketing capacity
• Experience related to marketing to international customers (B2B or B2C)
• Proficiency with video editing software, Photoshop, Canva, and event software Cvent.
Travel:
• Travel required approximately 3 times per year, possibly more during intensive periods of training, planning meetings, or campaigns.
Salary Range:
$85 - 95,000
