Reporting to the Assistant Dean/Director of International Students and Global Programs, the senior program coordinator provides individual and group advisement to undergraduate and graduate F-1/J-1 international students and certain J-1 exchange visitors on immigration matters as well as admission, enrollment, housing, personal/cultural adjustment, academic, financial, employment and other related matters. Key responsibilities also include management of our immigration database (SUNAPIS); the office website and technology based communications; monitoring regulatory changes affecting international students and scholars; providing educational/cultural programming and services for students, scholars, employees, and host departments; administering and evaluating the office’s overall operation and programs; and oversight of the undergraduate and graduate student support staff. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week 37.5 Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date.
