**About the Role**
As a Senior Program Manager on Uber’s Engineering Operations team, you will work closely with cross-functional Uber engineering teams to build innovative solutions that deliver effective results and magical experiences for our business stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in driving the successful execution of complex projects and programs from inception to delivery. The responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities, both strategic and operational, and require a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and business understanding. Manage teams and drive successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
**What you will do**
You will serve as a key member of the global Engineering Operations team, committed to driving process improvements across diverse product and platform teams to achieve substantial and highly visible business outcomes. The primary mission of this team is to establish a consistent Rhythm of Business (RoB) across all Uber engineering organizations and spearhead transformative, organization-wide initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. As a Program Manager, Tech, your work will encompass the following:
1. Take ownership of and oversee complex, large-scale programs aimed at driving efficiency and productivity improvements across Uber's engineering ecosystem.
2. Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to develop comprehensive plans for achieving strategic objectives, prioritize investments and features, and ensure successful implementation
3. Advocate for and drive continuous process optimization initiatives that align with the organization's strategic objectives, fostering sustainable success and maintaining a competitive advantage.
4. Develop, track, and coordinate comprehensive end-to-end project schedules. Proactively identify and resolve blockers, escalate issues as necessary, and implement measures to mitigate project risks effectively.
5. Facilitate effective communication by providing regular program updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership. Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to ensure alignment and transparency.
**Basic Qualifications**
1. 6+ years of program leadership experience leading large scale process transformations at an enterprise scale.
2. Deep product domain knowledge of JIRA or equivalent workflow management platforms
3. Proven track record in developing operational and executive dashboards leveraging Tableau, Grafana, Jira, Google Data Studio or other data visualization tools.
4. Excellent in identifying process gaps, measuring progress, and balancing engineering and product efficiency with process overhead.
5. Excellent written and presentation skills are required, including the ability to lead meetings, workshops, and reviews for both small groups and large audiences, including company leadership.
**Preferred Qualifications**
1. Worked at a high-paced, fast-growing work environment.
2. Experience in Strategic OKR planning, and financial budget planning and forecasting
