**Pay Range:** $114,732 - $186,742
Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Job Summary:
The individual in this position is responsible for the successful oversight, implementation, evolution, and evaluation of DEI programs and services prioritized in the DEI strategy. Provide subject matter expertise to advance the implementation of RUSH DEI strategy to maximize our competitiveness with our current and future employees, our patients, and the communities that trust us with their care. This individual will work closely with data analysts, our clinical and non-clinical staff and other key stakeholders. This position requires sound judgement and discretion in performing the assigned responsibilities. Finally, this individual will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
**Job Responsibilities:**
· Act as a thought leader in the development and implementation of programs, services, designed to drive the implementation of RUSH DEI strategy. Coaches, mentors, and motivates DEI Action implementation teams, executive sponsors, and stakeholders to achieve goals on time and within budget. Including:
o Defining scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, budgets, resource needs, and measures of success.
o Identifies and resolves issues/conflicts and/or escalates where appropriate for resolution.
· Develops and oversees system-wide DEI implementation dashboards and other progress reports to support executive decision making. Conducts data analyses to understand trends and identify opportunities.
· Utilize robust evaluation and data analyses methods to assess program effectiveness and business impact. Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on program outcomes.
· Develop, maintain, and enhance practices and policies to support existing ERGs, the formation of new ones, active membership engagement, and to maximize their impact on our mission.
· Partner with key stakeholders to enhance ERG governance, leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and event planning.
· Partners with Key stakeholders to drive a recognition and awareness strategy to celebrate key events and the cultural heritage of our people, patients, and communities. Increase awareness of the health disparities that impact them, lastly build capabilities.
· Defines program resource needs and advocates for resources.
· Partners in the development and implementation of a comprehensive internal/external DEI Communications strategy and in the development of related communications.
· Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with organizational values.

**Required Job Qualifications:**
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
· At least 5 years of prior DEI program management experience required.
· Proficient in using technology as a management-reporting tool.
· Strong planning and implementation skills.
· Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-functional team.
· Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to use one’s time efficiently with minimal direction.
· Off-site travel required; access to an automobile in good working condition required.
**Preferred Job Qualifications:**
· Master’s degree, in related field degree preferred.
