ABOUT OUR TEAM

As the CNS\n(Communication, Navigation, Surveillance) Center of Excellence\n(COE) we are responsible for the innovation, development, certification and\ndesign of electronic Aerospace products related to communication, radio navigation and\nsafe aircraft operation.

The Radar Altimeters – Navigational Radios is an engineering group within the CNS organization with products spread across commercial, defense and space domains.

As a Sr Project Engineer you will be part of a team where our key contributors wear multiple \"hats\" dependent upon the program scope and timeline. Our team is fully integrated in every aspect of a product’s life cycle – from working with a customer on a concept and subsequent proposal, through development, verification, production, and even obsolescence refreshes. 

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer (PE), our expectation on medium to smaller programs is for the PE to operate as both PE and SE (System Engineer) – managing the cost/schedule of the program along with driving technical discussions and stepping in and executing work where needed – such as drafting technical presentations or data items and maybe even running a test or two in the lab as required. On larger programs, the PE side can be up to a full-time responsibility, managing all program areas technical and programmatic.

You will impact existing product programs, as well as Development Programs supporting products in their full development lifecycle from initial development, through production, post production and customer support.

Using your project leadership skills and technical engineering aptitude, you will be instrumental in guiding and managing advanced engineering projects for our Avionics product portfolioServe as the technical point of contact for customers\nand program managementParticipate in\nproposals and cost estimation, schedule preparation and resource forecastingProvide project\noversight of day to day activities to achieve on time and on budget\nexecution Oversight\nof risk management process and baseline change processesDrive the EVM (Earned\nValue Management) process and effective management operating process (MOS).“Jump in” and support\ntechnical team as needed with small/medium programsDevelop creative and elegant solutions to meet requirements while meeting schedule and cost limitations.U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
