Senior Quality Engineer
As a Senior Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes. You will be accountable for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in quality engineering and problem-solving will contribute to the overall success of our organization.
You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work at our Pasadena, TX location.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and implement quality control systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
+ Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions
+ Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues
+ Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce operational costs
+ Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to quality standards
+ Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality mindset and skills of employees
+ Utilize SAP transactions for defective material movement and managing ongoing quality notifications
+ Conduct incoming quality inspections to product specifications for new material receipts
+ Interface with suppliers regarding ongoing quality issues and driving continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles
+ Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques
+ Experience with quality management systems and tools, such as Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO standards
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or quality management
+ ASQ Certification in quality engineering (CQE) or related disciplines
+ Experience in manufacturing quality
+ Strong leadership and communication skills
+ Strong knowledge of quality control systems and processes
+ Experience conducting quality inspections
+ Experience managing supplier corrective actions
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
+ Experience using SAP
+ Experience with optics or printed circuit boards
