As a\nSr. Quality Engineer Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role\nin developing and implementing quality strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring\nconsistency across multiple locations and delivering quality products. You will\nbe responsible for implementing quality control processes, conducting audits,\nand driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in quality\nengineering will contribute to the success and reputation of Honeywell as a\nglobal technology leader.

You will report directly to IA\nQuality Engineering Director, and you'll work out of Switzerland location on\na hybrid work schedule.  In this role, you\nwill impact the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that the\nquality strategies you implement will meet customer requirements and comply\nwith industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to\nidentify systematic quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive\nprocess improvements.


As\na Sr Quality Engineer Manager at Honeywell, you will be a part of a team of the\nQuality Leadership team within the HSS SBU and the global business of\nIndustrial Automation.  This role\nrequires the person to apply their expertise and knowledge in finding\ninnovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous\nimprovements. You will drive global initiatives that ensure compliance\nwith customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations,\nand engineering specifications while instilling site accountability\nfor governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product\nquality.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Strategy Implementation:
Develops\nand implements regional quality strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring\nconsistency across multiple locations. 
Quality Assurance:
Monitors\nand ensures adherence to quality policies, standards, and procedures within the\nregion. 
Continuous Improvement:
Identifies\nareas for improvement and implements initiatives to enhance quality processes\nand outcomes. 
Team Leadership:
Leads and mentors’ quality teams, providing guidance and support to ensure\neffective performance. 
Problem Solving:
Leads\ncross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and customer complaints. 
Supplier Management:
Conducts\nsupplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. 
Data Analysis:
Analyzes\ndata to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. 
Communication:
Communicates\neffectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and\nsuppliers. 
Compliance:
Ensures\ncompliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 
Training:
Provides\ntraining and support to employees on quality procedures and best practices. 
 


Basic\nQualifications:
Technical degree
> 8 yrs of experience as Quality professional
Lead Auditor certification and experience
ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, and AS9100 experience
Product Certification experience
Regulatory experience
APQA experience 
Out-of-the-box thinking 
Provide clear and concise communications
Greenbelt Certified 
Proficient computer skills 
Knowledge of six sigma tools
Ability to partner with others on projects 
Understanding of quality processes


Preferred Qualification:
Comprehension and practical application of risk assessments 
Experience certifying new products, working with global regulatory agencies, test labs, etc.
Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
