Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that all daily operations are prioritized and performed for approximately 8-12 stores base on geography. Asset management, customer growth, revenue production and personnel development are key a key focus of this role. In addition, will be responsible for oversight/managing two additional regions and responsibility over Regional Managers in multiple geographical areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
Identify key talent and develop them to take on other management roles within the organizationContinuously monitor staffing levelsCommunicate expectations and work with associates to establish goalsEnsure associates understand their role and are properly trainedProvide timely communication and feedback pertaining to store and personnel issuesConduct performance appraisals for associatesRegional Manager developmentSales, Marketing & Advertising
Provide recommendations to Divisional Vice President and partner with field marketing team to create advertising campaigns that assist the store in meeting sales goalsDrive sales and marketing both internally and externallyMonitor our competition’s sales and marketing activities monthlyPrepare monthly goals and conduct monthly P&L meetingsEnsure proper telephone sales procedures are utilizedOperations & Inventory Control
Ensure stores within the region are in compliance with best practices and operational proceduresEnsure store opening and closing procedures are performedParticipate in audits as requiredMonitor all inventory related documents for accuracyMonitor pricing determinations for clearance itemsMonitor bad debt and write-off expensesAnalyze and monitor inventory levelsWork with the Fleet Department to manage DOT and fleet maintenanceEnsure legal compliance with all applicable state and federal lawsEducation and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 8 years of progressive operational managerial experience with a multi-unit regionRequired Skills and Competencies:
