Position Specific Description
Our Power Delivery Regulatory Affairs group is looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst to join their team in Jupiter, FL. Employees in this role will be involved in the Company’s projects and dockets that are filed with the Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This position provides excellent exposure across many programs in Power Delivery.
Specific job duties and responsibilities may include:
• Project management of highly complex FPSC and FERC dockets for FPL (e.g. managing project timelines for case preparation and filing, processing, and handling discovery, leading effective meetings, resolving regulatory issues, coordinating hearing prep, attending hearings, etc.).
• Develop positive, trusting, and collaborative working relationships with Legal, Power Delivery and other Business Units to ensure regulatory requirements are satisfied.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written) and provide accurate, well-defined, and articulate research and docket summaries (may include filings, live agendas/hearings) on a timely basis.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and maintain high performance in a dynamic environment, often with tight filing deadlines.
• Strong dedication to understanding operational/engineering programs and completing assignments – willingness and ability to work extended hours when needed.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
Regulatory and Engineering experiences are a plus! Experience with SharePoint, CaseWorks, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel are preferred. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
