The Senior Revenue Account and Settlement Analyst delivers on our Purpose by partnering with Business and Technology Teams across Southwest to share expertise and provide mentorship with a focus on passenger and cargo sales and revenue processes. This role will analyze complex financial, banking, ticketing, cargo, and customer payment data to identify trends and anomalies and ensure financial integrity and accuracy. The Senior Revenue Account and Settlement Analyst is a detail orientated thinker who looks forward to driving the future of Finance at Southwest.

ResponsibilitiesCompile and analyze complex financial, banking, ticketing, cargo and customer payment data in functional area of expertise and review activity for accuracy, trends, and reporting needsBuild relationships and connect with others by articulating a shared sense of purpose, listening to others perspectives, and contributing subject matter expertise across multiple Teams and DepartmentsApply in-depth knowledge in functional area of expertise which may include the financial, banking, ticketing, cargo and customer payment functional areas to collect necessary information/data to resolve questions, disputes, and errors for internal and external inquiriesSupport the month end close process through recording accounting entries, performing analysis, preparing detailed reports, audit packages or case files in support of audits and legal inquiries, and providing a comprehensive walk-through of materials with limited guidanceCollaborate with Business and Technology Team Members as the subject matter expert to understand and provide an impact assessment in functional area of expertise from system upgrades, complex commercial projects or production defects; recommend test case scenarios to perform, and validate and document test case results and ensure internal controls are implemented to mitigate riskAct as a trusted resource, effectively communicating facts, insights, and recommendations across Teams, Departments, and projects; Competitive market salary from $91,250.00 - $101,400.00per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
