Sr Risk Analyst Loss Prevention - Decatur, IL
Loss Prevention Role DescriptionCoordinate with Operations, the overall process around ADM's Loss Prevention Program, including, take care of the inspection visits calendar, elect with Operations which locations has to be inspected yearly, organize the inspections between ADM and Engineering Consultants teams;Make sure inspections will be attended by the plant manager and senior engineers by practice (fire, boiler and machinery, RCM, PSM and others) according to the plant profile;Promote during inspections a kickoff meeting to review past engineering recommendations with all the professionals involved and after the inspection, a wrap up meeting to make sure the engineering report will capture not just recommendations, but a general overview of the location, investments related to safety and loss prevention and other technical information that can improve the quality and data of engineering reports;During the process of development of the engineering draft reports by the consultants, this professional will coordinate internal efforts to review it, sending such reports to the professionals who attended the inspection, after distribute allover technical committees, legal and finally SteerCo summarizing it during the monthly meetings;Once the draft is approved, the Engineering Consultant will finalize it and release it among the people the Loss Prevention Coordinator will indicate, after to have it coordinated internally with VP EHS;The loss prevention coordinator will share the content of the report with Technical Committees by practice. Such technical committees will indicate to the Loss Coordinator how such recommendations will be addressed after to consider it with the Loss Prevention SteerCo;Once have the reply about the recommendation, the Loss Prevention Coordinator, will inform the Engineering Consultants how it will be addressed (or not), the timeline applicable and the follow-up process around them;The Loss Prevention coordinator, will develop specific Power BI reports by engineering practice to serve as metrics for SteerCo and to support the prioritization discussions among Operations VP, CAPEX team and others;Also will develop Power BI reports to show the progress of Loss Prevention Program in general under the guidance of EHS VP, to capture not just the progress around the recommendations made by the engineering consultants, but all the improvements implemented allover the company to make the Global Property Risk Manager able to update Reinsurance Markets every semester, during the course of the current property policy;Set up and review annually the loss prevention plan developed with Operations and Safety structures based on the engineering recommendations reports developed by engineering consultants, discussing the key priorities for the long, medium and short term, also ensuring through the CAPEX Committee, the required CAPEX to implement such recommendations and other improvements that are part of the overall Loss Prevention Program;Promote the loss prevention, risk management and safety culture/mindset allover the company - developing policies, procedures and trainings in partnership with Operations and Safety structures;Review with Operations and Safety structures the existence emergency response plans, safety and human element procedures checking if they are in line with the best practices and following market standards for our type of industry to also be aligned with the engineering recommendations;Required Background/Skills to Develop the Function:Bachelor Degree in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanics, Chemical, Civil and others;Technical certifications, MBA and other applicable academical background around engineering will be a differential;Previous experience coordinating engineering services, are desire, but not required;Experience working under Global or Large Property Programs contexts is a plus;Fluence in English (written, speaking and listening);Other language skills will be considered as a differential for this global position;The professional has to have very good communication speaking and written skills, objectivity, problem solving and results driven;High level of analytical mindset, hands-on, attentive to details, good comprehension about the effect of the work developed on ADM business and strategy is essential;Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
