Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager with demonstrated expertise in financial and non-financial risk management to serve as a Sr Risk Manager (team lead) within the second line of defence (2LoD) team, based in Manila.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the APAC risk management function (4FTEs), ensuring our regulated payments entities meet regulatory obligations with respect to financial (capital and liquidity) and non-financial (operational, compliance, IT risk management, and outsourcing risk). Candidates without experience in both financial and non-financial risk will not be successful through CV screening.

Key job responsibilities
- Facilitate development of risk management policies, procedures, and other governance documents, as necessary ensuring risk-management is top of mind when executing business strategy.
- Articulate the three lines of risk management model and embed ownership roles and responsibilities.
- Advise on the maturing of risk appetites and tolerances, overseeing KRIs across a wide range of businesses and operations to report against these to decision-making committees.
- Coach non-risk professionals on key elements of Risk Management best practices.
- Manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency, including supporting expansions from a risk management perspective.
