Location

This is a Technical Sales Development role covering an East Coast territory from Louisiana to Maine. 50-75% overnight travel expected.

Our Materials and Structural Analysis business helps customers drive ground breaking research and discoveries by delivering innovative microscopy, spectroscopy and microanalysis solutions, such as world-class scanning and transmission electron microscopes, DualBeam™ FIB-SEMs, and spectrometers, combined with advanced software suites. We span across the business areas of spectroscopy, visualization software, semiconductor, life sciences, and material sciences, as well as global support functions like commercial sales, service, operations, research and development, advanced technologies and marketing.

How will you make an impact?

As a Sr. Sales Development Representative, you will support the growth of the Electron Microscopy business within the Materials and Structural Analysis Division, by driving market shares through lead generation and qualification. What you will do:

Provide technical/scientific support to accelerate sales opportunitiesResearch new potential and existing customers and demonstrate how our solutions and workflows address their specific needsEngage with current customers to introduce them to new technologies and capabilities, strengthening ongoing relationshipsBuild and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure long-term partnershipsIdentify and pursue new leads in both current accounts and unexplored market segments to drive growthQualify and nurture leads through continuous follow-up and relationship-building effortsConduct monthly pipeline reviews to track progress, ensure alignment with targets, and optimize sales strategiesCoordinate the roll-out of targeted campaigns within the sales team to effectively reach new customer segmentsPlan and organize workshops and site visits aimed at engaging potential new customers and demonstrating our solutionsAnalyze market trends and customer requirements to identify strategic opportunities for enhancing product positioning and differentiation, driving greater customer and business value.

How you will get here?

Education

Minimum education requirement is a Master’s Degree in physical or life sciences, material sciences, or engineering; PhD Degree is preferred. A strong background in Structural Biology, protein science, or Biochemistry is required.

Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of Cryo-EM (Electron Microscopy) experience (academic or industry).Sales development and capital equipment experiences are highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $93,000.00–$139,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
