The Billtrust Senior Sales Trainer will have the opportunity to contribute to our growing success by leading our training efforts for the Sales and Marketing groups. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of on-going training programs, including responsibility for on-boarding new sales hires and training and development of internal teams with primary focus on sales, client sales, business development, pre-sales and marketing.
As part of the Sales Training team, the Senior Sales Trainer will create, conduct, and evaluate training workshops for internal Billtrust applications both on-site and remotely. He/she will create course guidelines, deliver training courses and build out a knowledge base which includes supporting documentation.
What You'll Do:
Develop a training strategy for the team including creating a yearly training plan Create and conduct onboarding training courses and ongoing learning and development programs for sales and marketing departments Deliver Training onsite in Chicago for new sales hires as well as on-demand content throughout the year. Create and update training materials including new hire content to supplement instructor led course delivery Develop training curriculum including definitive learning objectives, associated learning activities and documentation to support instructor led training for Billtrust employees Partner with departmental SMEs to create and maintain training content Incorporate feedback from class participants and other training stakeholders to improve and expand curriculum and teaching methodology Maintain proficiency in Billtrust company culture, policies, software and products necessary to execute training classes Maintain practical experience configuring and using the Billtrust suite of products consistent with course teaching responsibilitiesWhat You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred 3-5+ years of proven success in training various levels of professionals; such as, sales and sales leadership teams Sales Experience not required but preferred. Experience working for a high-growth SaaS based company in a training role preferred Technical Sales experience (selling a complex enterprise-wide technical solution) is extremely desirable. Experience in delivering training to adults with in-person and remote delivery via webinar Ability to conduct training sessions for small and large groups in a variety of organizational levels Highly-organized and experienced in multitasking Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Fun, high energy and personableThe expected base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually.
