Job Description The Senior Salesforce Developer will provide application support. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with broad technical expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the enterprise architect, internal Salesforce technical team and business stakeholders to design and implement solutions that align with the organizations goals. In addition to deep Salesforce knowledge, you should have proficiency with other programming languages like C# or Java and databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize Salesforce integrations and build high-performing APIs that support business objectives. This position is part of the Data Services & Project Management Center of Excellence team and reports to the Senior Director, Data Services and Project Management CoE (DSPMO). Key Responsibilities  Design, develop, test and deploy customized Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud).  Create, maintain and optimize custom objects, validation rules, triggers, flows, Lightning components and Apex classes.  Integrate third-party applications with Salesforce using APIs and middleware.  Design and implement APIs to connect Salesforce with external systems.  Collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of data between systems.  Work with data structures to optimize storage, retrieval and replication of data.  Ensure database structures align with business and technical requirements.  Apply ITIL best practices to release and change management including the use of Github, Confluence, and Jira.  Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Salesforce, databases and integrations.  Maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations, APIs and data flows. Skills and Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience in business or technology.  5+ years of direct Salesforce development.  In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of Salesforce.  Proven ability to align business processes and Salesforce best practices.  Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flows.  Proven experience as a programmer using Apex, C# and other programming language frameworks.  Demonstrated effectiveness in translating business requirements into technical specifications and implementing the solutions.  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex technical requirements.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with cross-functional teams.  High dedication to a culture of excellence, collaboration, and optimization.  Proactive, detail-oriented with the ability to influence others and foster a positive working environment.  Proficient in utilizing spreadsheets and database tools (Salesforce, Smartsheet, Excel) to analyze data.  Exceptional in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  English language skills - fluent written and verbal communication.
