Purpose

Plan all aspects of production in collaboration with the production team, to make sure that we have the right level of finished goods inventory and manning at the right time to satisfy customer requirements for products.

 

Responsibilities

Plan all aspects of short term (0-3 months) production in support of the order fulfilment process. This includes planning production of finished goods and balancing capacity, materials and inventory to meet customers’ needs.Define account objectives, develop strategy, implement through account plan.Production Planner whose mission will be to plan all aspects of short term (0-3 months) production in support of the order fulfilment process. This includes planning production of finished goods and balancing capacity, materials and inventory to meet customers need.Develop successful working relationship with (new and existing) clients across all levels of customer organization, influencing their choice of suppliers and establish Dsm-firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business.Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities.Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including fragrance/flavour/ingredient submissions)Oversees entire value chain: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction.Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives.

 

You Bring

Degree in Engineer, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, mathematics or Economics2-3 years of production scheduling planning experience preferred and Production Process knowledge Contribute to team success, quality orientation and continuous improvementComputer skills: SAP ECC, SAP APO or equivalent and MS office proficiencyAPICS Basics, CPIM or DDI (DDMRP) DDPP Certified a Plus
