The Sr. Secretary position in Creative is an administrative support role covering phones, scheduling, expenses, and other admin duties for two Executives. In addition, this individual may read project drafts, submissions, and samples, providing feedback as part of the creative development process.
This position falls under the collective bargaining agreement of OPEIU (Local 174). For additional information, please refer to www.opeiu174.org
Responsibilities:
Answer, screen, and roll calls for executivesMaintain call sheetManage executives' calendarsSchedule internal & external meetings (with writers, for projects in development, etc.)Prepare and submit expense reportsLiaise with other Disney executives, producers, writers, and assistants internally and externallyComplete projects and research requests to advance development goalsProvide feedback on project drafts, submissions, and samplesRepresent the department in a professional mannerSupport departmental projects as neededMaintain organizational documents and monitor the status of deliverablesAssist in the preparation of meetingsMaintain filesProcess vendor invoicesCoordinate domestic and international travelQualifications:
Minimum 2 years executive assistant experience at a Studio, Production Company, Literary Agency or Talent AgencyBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Superior attention to detailAbility to take initiative and work with limited directionAbility to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong computer literacy and proficiency with SAP. Working knowledge of Adobe and Keynote preferredDemonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quicklyExceptional organizational and follow-through skillsAbility to work with confidential informationPositive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexibleStrong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a teamThe pay rate for this OPEIU role in Burbank, CA is $23.37 per hour.
