ResponsibilitiesApply Thermo Fisher Scientific's or customer's inventory/order management electronic systems for activities such as on-site program replenishments, disbursements, receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, expediting, customer service call resolution, product returns, and backorder processing.Handle the pickup of hazardous waste and delivery of inventory packages within a laboratory environment.Sustain and maintain stockroom inventory and assist in the registration of chemicals into a chemical database.Adhere strictly to work processes as outlined by our written procedures.Address customer concerns effectively, aiming for resolution within the established timeframe, and proactively communicate with supervisors about any potential issues.Engage in process improvement activities to improve service delivery.Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.RequirementsEducation
High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; a college degree is preferred.Experience2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a laboratory setting or services.Proven customer service, verbal, written, and presentation skills.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAbility to read, write, and speak English fluently, with strong communication skills.Outstanding interpersonal skills for collaborating with various levels of Thermo Fisher personnel and customers.Proficiency in operating handheld scanners and performing data entry functions.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite.Capability to work independently at customer sites, sometimes in environments with chemical-based allergens.Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 50 pounds, using equipment like pushcarts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required.
