Opportunity Overview
Are you an experienced architect / systems engineer with a passion for complex instrument development and product delivery? Do you want to join a global leader in electronics testing and innovation? If so, Teradyne is looking for you!
Teradyne is looking for an experience architect to bring new test solutions for mass production of silicon photonics devices (wafers, optical engines and co-packaged optics) to market. You will be working closely with product managers, customers, ecosystem partners and cross functional engineering teams to define solutions and design architectures for new silicon photonics test solution products.
Study industry trends, business requirements and available technology to develop product architectures. Lead the of architectures, systems design, and specifications for new products through collaboration with cross-functional engineering and business teams. Customer facing engagement to discover requirements and understand preferences Use judgement to make tradeoffs between what is possible and what is needed to arrive at an optimized architecture.

A science or engineering graduate degree Experience architecting complex test and measurement production systems 5+ years of experience of developing silicon photonics products to market. Must be a highly effective communicator Skill in managing in ambiguity and uncertainties
