Sr Solution Manager IT - HR Systems
Job Description

The IT Solution Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the portfolio of HR projects ultimately creating solutions that enable the achievement of business priorities. The candidate must provide thought leadership and hands on expertise for designing ‘best practice’ solutions that combine knowledge from industry experience and the latest capabilities within the SAP ecosystem.  The candidate must effectively manage business and functional relationships; perform demand planning and prioritization of projects; provide leadership, planning, and people management to Project and Process Leaders, Business Analysts across the business, IT, and third-party vendors.

Additional Responsibilities Research and recommend chemical industry best practices and align with key stakeholders to maintain strategic HR Management IT roadmap Stay informed about HR systems trends, updates, and new technologies to continuously improve system functionalities and efficiencies Provide recommendations to leadership on applying current/emerging best practices addressing issues critical to success Identify, establish, and maintain business relationships with key Grace stakeholders Identify and manage change management needs leading to the successful acceptance of new processes and use of technology Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Cybersecurity, Finance, etc.) to integrate HR systems with other enterprise systems and applications Act as SME and IT project manager for small to medium sized projects Share knowledge and develop relationships with on/offshore maintenance and project teams Responsible for the Knowledge Transfer Plan and successful solution transfer to Grace support teams Provide technical expertise on configuring HR systems and act as an internal expert on SAP capabilities in the HR area Translate business requests into technical and business process requirements Conduct workshops with technical and non-technical resources Lead the development within Grace SDLC framework including design, build, test, documentation and training Manage projects including providing status reporting, tracking budget and managing internal and external resources Flexible travel required, up to 15% possible Required Skills Must have good understanding of integrated and end-to-end HR systems including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, Payroll, and Employee Self-Service Detailed understanding of SAP technical objects integration to ECC & S/4 – User exit/enhancement & Data Mapping Guiding complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validating fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensuring deviations from “out of the box” functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition Leading project team and workstreams from Initiation through Go live, Hypercare and Post Hypercare support Ability to coordinate remote teams and work effectively with an off-shore, outsourcing provider Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide direction to less experienced architects Strong communication and collaboration skills Required Experience Demonstrated proven success in architecting, designing, building, and deploying HR systems Experience in End-to-End implementation, support, upgrade & optimization projects Knowledge and hands on experience in SAP SuccessFactors, ADP payroll and Kronos timekeeping with good understanding of integration between the applications 5+ years international HRIS implementation, configuration and management experience 12+ years IT Systems Projects / Business Analysis / Service experience SDLC project management experience Preferred Qualifications Good knowledge of HR processes in chemical manufacturing industry Experience with SAP analytics tools (i.e. SAC) Knowledge of other modules of SAP such as SD, FI, MM and/or PP nice to have
