Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Program Management/Site Lead acts at the O-5 level, leveraging direct and indirect influence and leadership to a multidisciplinary, functional team to ensure L3Harris meets the contractual requirements of their work center. The position will be on assignment in Adelaide, Australia through contract duration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensures that all labor and material at their site is leveraged to support their respective customer and end-user (if applicable)Work and coordinate with geographically separated Program and Functional Managers to ensure their site has the needed skillsets and material as required by contract or projectWork and coordinate with the PM-05 and Business Accounting to ensure the monthly financial forecast is accurateExecute site efforts and limit monthly expenditures to planned forecastAdvise PMO leadership of conditions or situations which arise outside of planWork with Customer, End-User (if applicable), and PMO leadership to develop mitigation strategies and associated budget estimateIs the point of contact (POC) for the customer and end-user (if applicable) for L3Harris at their siteCommunicates with, listens to, and gains understanding of the customer and end-user (if applicable) issues and problem areasWorks as a problem solver; Able to apply critical thinking, experience, expertise, and work as part of a team to create solutions, develop the critical path towards that solution, and execute to plan to resolve problems.Mentors’ direct reports and Functional management at their siteCoordinates all country, base, and flightline or work center access as needed for their team and PMO employees as requiredLeverages professional and ethical communications and behavior in all aspects of performing their jobMonitors subcontractor and vendor performance on the program. Performs gap analysis between contracted and desired outcomes and advises PMO of desired SOW language changes.All other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Applicant must be a US citizenPossess a valid US Passport and driver's license. Must hold an active DOD Secret clearance and have the ability to obtain Top Secret - SCI.Additional Position Requirements:
Must be proficient with standard Microsoft Office Software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).The applicant must possess excellent managerial and leadership skills as they will manage and mentor a diverse team of aviation professionals.Individual must be able to relocate to Adelaide, AustraliaPreferred Position Qualifications:
Prior USAF Command, SPO, and/or Foreign Military Sales experience is highly desired.
