Job Description:

As a Electrical Engineer Specialist in the Agile Development Group (ADG), you will be part of developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV). Your main duties will include working design, test, and integration of circuit card assemblies containing analog, digital, power and high speed circuits, along with supporting cables and wiring harnesses for UAS / UAV’s, advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies. 

Essential Functions: 

Responsible for electrical design tasks including requirements analysis, specification generation, interface definition, component selection, circuit simulation, schematic capture, and board layoutEngage in advanced digital CCA and flex cable design implementing an array of complex components including both high performance and conventional data converters, memory, FPGAs, processors, op amps, and logic devicesDesign product support test hardware including breakout boards and interface cable fixtures and develop test plans and procedures for digital subsystems and all relevant documentation for design description and requirementsInteract with software and FPGA engineers to test and troubleshoot electrical circuits and interfaces of the CCAsParticipate in risk assessment and develop mitigation strategiesInterface with interdisciplinary design teams and reviews.Schedule, cost, and technical responsibility at the board or sub-circuit level.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree in engineering or science and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Electrical Engineering experience.Active Secret security clearance is required2+years or more with the following technologies:Advanced processors, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422, Ethernet, CAN, PCIe, Op Amps / feedback loops / switching circuits / power circuits, and Motor drivers3 years experience with CAD tools: Simulation, Modeling, Schematic Capture, etc.Experience with basic digital test equipment including oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, signal generator, and power metersExperience with general circuit board layout techniques

Altium Designer SoftwareAble to work in a team environmentGood communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)Excellent problem-solving skillsProficient in Visio, and Microsoft Office products

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,500.00 -$158,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
