Summary of Role:
The legal operations team at GF is looking for an experienced contracts paralegal to primarily support GF’s Commercial Agreements’ group (“CA”) and the administration, implementation, and maintenance of GF’s SellSide Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDAs”), supporting multiple worldwide organizations to include sales, legal, and research and development through the implementation and maintenance of our confidentiality coverage under NDAs in order to enable business. This is a global role with minimal travel required. The candidate will be focused on NDA administration, to include lower complexity negotiations, drafting and execution. S/he will also be expected to provide paralegal support for the CA team or the broader legal team on other projects as the need may arise.
Essential Responsibilities:
Monitor and attend to correspondence with GF’s internal and external customers
Provide advice to various functional areas of the business with respect to NDA coverage topics
Review and respond / redline (based upon a Playbook of terms) to customer requested confidentiality terms and conditions
Route NDAs for execution, and follow up to ensure timely execution
Update and maintain GF’s Contract Life Management system and perform other post-execution steps and administrative tasks with respect to NDAs
Execute routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies within GF’s CA processes
Provide paralegal support to the broader legal team on special team projects
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education – bachelor’s degree or diploma in Legal Studies or equivalent.
Experience - Minimum 2 years of legal assistant, paralegal, legal operations or relevant work experience to include contract drafting.
Skills – proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer based programs (such as is encountered with a Contract Life Management system), contract drafting skills (for lower level issues), strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work globally and with all levels of management and effectively utilize available company resources, strong positive interpersonal skills with a willingness to help others and seek out work when needed, detail oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently, ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of organization and task tracking, strong planning and organizational skills.

Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
