The Advisor Services Technology team is responsible for managing the entirety of our digital products designed specifically for to our Institutional and Independent Advisor clients. 

AS Money Movement provides asset movement functions to Schwab Financial Advisors to facilitate money movements into their sub-accounts. A money movement is the transfer of funds between internal and/or external accounts. The Money Movement team is comprised of multiple scrum teams all working collaboratively to provide the best experience to advisor firms.

We are looking for a Sr. Specialist of Software Development & Engineering to work in our dynamic and collegiate team.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from 4-year accredited degree granting college or university is preferred, or equivalent experience.4+ years of full stack application development experience.4+ years proven experience developing and implementing applications, particularly web-enabled applications using:Front End Technologies/Concepts:  Angular 15 or above, ngRx, JavaScript technologies, CSS/SCSS, MVC, JSON/XML, Sync/Async services.Back End Technologies/Concepts:  C#, ASP.NET, SOAP and RESTful API design.Database Technologies/Concepts:  Relational (SQL/Oracle) and Document Based (No-SQL/MongoDB) Architectures.Environment: Distributed Monolithic and Cloud Based Microservices (Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry is strongly differentiating).

Preferred Qualifications:

Passion for enterprise-level agile development.Solid understanding in web application environments and development tools, event-driven application development, session state management, web configuration and deployment strategies, security, and performance tuning, and debugging methodologies.Comfortable with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts, unit testing principles and implementations, API test automation techniques as well as automated deployment pipeline tools.Experience with AS local governance processes and procedures.Experience with Atlassian tool suite is strongly preferred: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, BambooExperience within the SAC Money Movement technical stack.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective time management. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively.Have a passion for problem solving, the ability to quickly learn new concepts, and must be able to interact with all levels of technical and business teams.Be a team player, self-motivated and able to work collaboratively across organizations and geographic locations.
