Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Specialist System Engineering to help us maintain, enhance and optimize our SQL data warehouse. In this position, you will be responsible for enhancing existing processes, creating new pipelines, and optimizing existing stored procedures so that our employees can access the necessary information in a timely manner. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in computer science and several years of experience working with ETL tools and programs like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory. Certification in SQL is also beneficial, but it is not mandatory. This is a hands-on role that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service. We function in a hybrid on-prem/Azure cloud environment.

Sr Specialist System Engineering Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or MathSQL certification (preferred) or equivalent nanodegreeExpert experience with database programming or administrationProficiency with standard database tools including Management Studio, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data StudioAbility to support all phases of Analytic Development from identification of key business questions, through Data Collection, and ETL/ELTAbility to work independently and be able to collaborate with remote/US team employeesCritical thinking and problem-solving skills are required to support job failures
