Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and systems across our organization.Perform security vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies.Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and monitoring purposes.Ensure system stability, scalability, security, and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and services.Provide vulnerability remediation solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu, etc.) and server administrationExperience with security vulnerability checks and implementing remediation measuresProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, etcStrong understanding of networking protocols and configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies (VMware, FlexCloud)Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive problem resolutionWorks with other System Administrators to resolve their server vulnerabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with configuration management tools (CFEngine)Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)Familiarity with Operating System Logging and Alarming  (SACT, Splunk)Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios)

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC, CompTIA Linux+) are a plus.

Salary: from 2275 EUR/a month gross. The actual salary is based on skills, experience and knowledge.
