Schedule: Mon - Fri, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, On-Call RotationPay: $140,000 - $150,000Location: Englewood, COApplication Deadline: 11/21/25Our thriving Englewood, CO pharmacy is looking for a Sr. Staff Pharmacist to step into a leadership role. This position combines hands-on patient care with opportunities to mentor the team, streamline operations, and help guide our continued growth.
As a key member of local management team, responsible for ensuring operation of business is conducted efficiently and accurately, while maintaining high level of customer service. Provides input for strategic decisions such as determining appropriate operational staffing levels in advance of new business, technology enhancements to improve efficiency, scheduling of subordinate staff to meet management guidelines, and regulatory controls appropriate to business.

Essential job functions (include the following):
• Ensure all prescriptions are entered, verified, filled and dispensed accurately, timely and within budget
• Under the direction of Director of Pharmacy Operations, ensure that all stat, prn and CII prescriptions are filled according to order and state regulations accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensures that all data entry and fulfillment functions are completed daily and that all cut-off times and delivery run times are met
• Ensure the Pharmacy operates in compliance with all State and Federal Pharmacy laws
• Supervise staff, to include hiring, training, evaluating, managing performance, scheduling, etc. Ensure adequate coverage for workflow within budget
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure operation runs smoothly and within budget
• Oversee workflow; identify problem areas and oversee Technicians to ensure implementation of process improvements.
• Ensure Data Entry and Daily Fulfillment Technicians understand the importance of prioritizing runs and keeping their workflow queues and pharmacy software cleared out in a timely manner in order to clear delivery
• Provide input on identifying and evaluating technology which has the potential to improve efficiency in operations
• Ensure staff reports all errors, complaints, to Management on a regular basis and assists in tracking and evaluation of errors and complaints
• Ensure that customers are notified if an item is not going to be delivered for any reason, the reason the item is not being delivered and when the order can be filled
• Responsible for ensuring proper procedures for attaching documents are followed to facilitate document retrieval in a timely manner on both new prescriptions and refills
• Facilitate communications between Data Entry & Fulfillment with Billing and Management to maximize resources and minimize distractions to workflow.
• Work closely with the Director to continually evaluate and improve work processes as well as a quiet, orderly and productive work environment
• Contribute to production by working as a Pharmacist
• Provide customer relations duties as assigned
• Assume the responsibilities of Director when that individual is away from the pharmacy or as requested
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
Education and/or Certifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD. required
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions
Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
• Basic understanding of finance/accounting principles a plus
