At the Materials and Structural Analysis Division, we develop high-end electron microscopes for world leaders in semiconductor fabrication. We are seeking a Sr. Staff Software Architect to accelerate the development of automated semiconductor process equipment that delivers wafer-to-atomic information, enabling our customers to make timely decisions.

What you will doWork within the architecture team to define and deploy the architectural roadmap.Define, challenge and own the technical choices regarding the entire software stack design, with particular attention to modularity and integration of third-party software and hardware solutions.Present and clarify the architecture to the development teams and to external collaborators.Collaborate with other architects in the division to build a consistent software ecosystem at the division level.How you will get here?Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
10+ years experience in the software engineering field5+ years experience with software architectureProven experience in technical leadership of teams of 10+ developersAbility to quickly come up to speed by understanding new problem domainsExcellent analytical and empirical problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to create and communicate software designs in any of the commonly used forms (C4, UML, etc.)Ability to design inter-module and inter-process APIs and interfacesAbility to travel domestically and internationallyPreferred Qualifications:
