The Regulatory Operations and Safety Team enables sustained business growth across Canada through ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance and building an industry-leading safety and standards program.
In this role, you will design new and optimize existing processes to increase the adaptability and resilience of our systems. You will elevate the performance of the team to advance our collective mission in this area. You will need to balance a strategic mind and detail orientation, as well as a pragmatic and evidence-based approach to solving problems. ## **What You’ll Do**
- Understand in-depth the complex business and technical issues we intend to solve, analyze the performance and integrity of our critical business processes, and design scalable solutions to strengthen them, with diligent end-to-end documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and iterate on process improvement solutions that may involve multiple disciplines, including data science, data engineering, and product management (e.g. query optimization, data pipeline changes)
- Plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with minimal guidance, requiring excellent stakeholder, communication, and project management skills
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
## **Basic Qualifications**
- 4+ years of experience in roles which included process optimization and automation, project delivery, stakeholder management
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong proficiency in Excel & SQL
## **Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with Python and other relevant programming languages
- Familiarity with data infrastructure and data engineering
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP) and their data services
- Passion for improving user experience, both internally and consumer-facing
- Outstanding teamwork, communication and organizational skills; experience managing & influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally
- Data-driven problem solving mindset and ability, with a knack for turning data into meaningful insights that advise decisions
- Ability to thrive with ambiguity and autonomy; high capacity to learn; willingness to experiment and iterate; strong sense of ownership over their work
For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$111,000 per year - CAD$123,500 per year.
