As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a\ncritical role in driving the procurement strategy and initiatives for the\ncontract logistics category in the APAC region. You will be responsible for\ndeveloping the sourcing strategy and executing all sourcing activities. Your\nexpertise in strategic sourcing and supply chain management will be\ninstrumental in driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and\nensuring efficient contract logistics operations.

You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing – Global\nWarehousing + Distribution.  In this\nrole, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the\nbusiness through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, and\nsupplier quality. You will be responsible for developing and executing annual\nand strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\nYou will lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base,\nachieve lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single source risk. Additionally,\nyou will drive improvements in sourcing processes and performance through\neffective management operating systems.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  \nDevelop and execute annual and strategic procurement plans
    •  \nEnsure alignment and lead procurement strategies with business\nobjectives
    •  \nLead cross-functional sourcing initiatives related to third party\nwarehouse services
    •  \nIn collaboration with Logistics Operations, optimize Honeywell’s\nwarehouse network
    •  \nDrive supplier negotiation and contract management
    •  \nLeverage data to identify savings opportunities and service improvements
    •  \nLeverage benchmarking and should cost modeling to guide tactical plans\nand in  supplier negotiations.
    •  \nImprove sourcing processes and performance through an effective
    •  \nCommunicate and report transition progress to senior leadershipYOU MUST HAVE

    •   10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply\nchain management
    •   Strong leadership and people management skills
    •   Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement\nstrategies
    •   Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
    •   Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing\nplatforms
    •   International experience with exposure to high-growth regions
    •   Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations,\nsales/marketing
    

WE VALUE
 
    •   Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
    •   Extensive experience in procurement
    •   Complex and large project management and/or contract management\nexperience
    •   Professional certifications in project/supply chain/procurement/contract\nmanagement
    •   Demonstrated business and financial acumen
    •   Experience with SAP, E-Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools,\nProject Management Tools
    •   Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
