As a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of a value engineering (VE) and component engineering (CE) initiatives, ensuring VE-CE projects are delivered on time, and meeting the savings objectives. The job responsibilities also includes monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders throughout the project execution lifecycle.
This role plays a critical role in driving cost savings through VE-CE initiatives. These initiatives will be aligned with category and overall strategic sourcing strategies. Your primary focus will be on meeting the business requirements of the ESS division, by achieving productivity savings target of 1% of ESS Business revenue, in alignment with ESS VECE Annual Operating Plan Savings target.
This will involve project management activities, including end-to-end project management of each assigned opportunity, in a fast-paced and complex business environment. Working within a collaborative team, including Engineering and R&D experts, you will contribute to high-impact projects that drive the business forward. Your responsibilities will include helping the team meet deadlines, tracking and monitoring project progress, and preparing reports for senior leadership to provide updates on the status and progress of each project.
