Sr Strategy Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Senior Analyst supports the Murphy USA Strategy department in articulating and developing the company's strategy and works across the business to better understand how current and anticipated macro trends impact the business.
The Senior Analyst serves as a lead analyst on strategic initiatives and will also support the EPMO in estimating, measuring, and tracking the performance of strategic enterprise projects and programs. This role works closely with the Director of Strategy and Murphy USA senior management to deliver Strategy assignments. The assignments span a wide range across delivering on new technological system implementations to the introduction of new capabilities in store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leading research and analytical projects in conjunction with business leads.
2. Conducting financial analyses on new enterprise initiatives in support of estimating potential and tracking value post implementaiton .
3. Building productive relationships across departments and levels.
4. Partnering with business leaders to understand business performance and the impact of macro trends
5. Monitoring macro short- and long-term trends that may impact in the industry and/or the consumer
6. Preparing clear, persuasive and concisely written presentations.
7. Delivering both formal and informal presentations.
8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as advanced accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to four years of college, plus 6 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
