The Sr Subcontracts Specialist will establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per Annual Operating Plan and will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures and export/import regulations. This is a hybrid role and candidate can be located in Mason OH or Charlotte NC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\n Manage all subcontracts with suppliers that will provide products and services necessary to perform install operations to our customers throughout the life cycle of a project\nWork with a sense of urgency; proactively engage with the internal program office/contracts group and support lead Program Managers when dealing with matters of subcontractor cost, performance, and schedule\nAdminister existing subcontracts with interaction with Program, Project, and Cost/Estimating Teams\nMaintain, analyze, and update subcontract records and support financial forecasting\nMaintain an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on subcontract\nEngage in regular communications with subcontractors; communicate supplier status during sustainment and supply chain meetings\nRecognize and communicate subcontract issues; collaborate with Project Managers and Sourcing Team; facilitate meetings with subcontractors to ensure areas of concern are being addressed and performance issues resolved\nPrepare, analyze, and evaluate bids and proposals to ensure they are compliant with company policy, program requirements, and department operating procedures\nProvide leadership in the evaluation of single/sole source proposals as well as during competitive source evaluation and selection process\nExecute quick-react requirements identified by the program team in accordance with supply chain management direction
Respond to data calls and support all internal and external audit activities\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n 2+ years of subcontracts/procurement experience\nNegotiation and contract management experience\nFamiliarity with procurement software and tools\n\n

\n\n Bachelor's Degree\nExperience working with subcontractors during all phases of program lifecycle\nExperience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP, and other business tools used in the execution of subcontracts management activities\n\n
