Job Summary
Supervise the maintenance and repair of all subsea BOP and riser systems, Multiplex electro-hydraulic control systems, and all associated surface equipment and systems.The Senior Subsea Supervisor is responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of all subsea operations, ensuring the maintenance and repair of Well Control Equipment (WCE) and associated systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage complex subsea projects to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Responsible for the supervision of subsea operations using WCE and associated systems. Ensures WCE maintained and operated within processes, standards and regulatory requirements.

PRE-REQUISITE/QUALIFICATION:
High School Diploma (U.S.)/ Proof of Completion of Formal Education or Relevant Craft Certificate (where applicable)Successful Military Discharge – Preferred for U.S.Minimum of five-years of experience working with a Multiplex systemProficient in all technical calculations required for the subsea operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skillsPost secondary education 4-year degree from a university where knowledge and training acquired are applicable to job requirements (Engineering, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical)– Preferred. Disciplined application and participation in the Task Planning & Risk Assessment Process.Execute all tasks and task steps in a disciplined manner, following the sequence detailed in the relevant procedures.Recognize at risk behavior or conditions during tasks and call ‘Time out for Safety’ when unsure.Participate in Debriefs to feedback lessons learned from performing the task. Ensures the Daily IBWM Report must be sent out via the Subsea IBWM Reporting Application.Leads the Debrief calls post IBWM event to capture improvement opportunities.Ensure all maintenance tasks are documented and completed as per the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Ensures all of the checks and tests are completed and documented on the PDCL (Pre-Deployment Check List).Ensure that the Subsea Dept at all times has the necessary supplies and spare parts for operation and maintenance of all the subsea related equipment.Implement and verify Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures during maintenance activities.Ensure compliance with the Subsea BOP Control System Component Quality Plan.HSE REQUIREMENTS:

Ensure change is properly controlled and managed.
DUTIES:
The underlying expectation is that all duties are carried out in compliance with the Company Operational Discipline expectations and HSE requirements. When considering assignment of duties for the Senior Subsea Supervisor, the Supervisor and the Senior Subsea Supervisor will apply the rules of task planning (CAKES) to determine if the assigned role is appropriate. This means confirming that the individuals involved have the knowledge, skills, and experience to carry out the task, and the task plan complies with policy before they are authorized to proceed.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Operations/Maintenance:
Supervise and facilitate the maintenance, testing and repair of all WCE equipment, including BOP stacks, HPU’s, diverter, riser systems, tensioner systems, BOP control systems, and choke and kill manifolds.Ensure all subsea equipment is maintained to ensure reliability and performance standards are met.Direct the deck and drill crews in the running and recovery of the BOP and Marine Riser equipment.Direct the assembly and installation of the BOP and all well control equipment.Operate and pressure test the BOP on the surface and on the seabed as required.Operate and service the bridge cranes and related hoisting equipment.Ensure that the riser pipe system is serviced and tested as required; Operate and maintain the diverter system and the running and handling tools.Assist in running/testing the wellhead, casing hangers and seal assemblies.Ensure that the required riser tensioning pressure is set to comply with the mud weight in use.Maintain accurate daily log sheets relevant maintenance to the subsea equipment.Maintain records of BOP and associated equipment tests.Maintain records of inspection and certification of subsea equipment.Ensure that an adequate supply of spares is maintained.Maintain records of ton-miles on wire ropes.Ensure that the permit to work and isolation system is in place and followed.Liaise with the marine department prior to moving the BOP and marine riser package.Assist in supplying information for maintenance and repair budget.Assist in communicating equipment problems or breakdown with Field Support group and equipment vendor.Responsible for the IBWM planning, building project scope and safe efficient execution of the same ensuring alignment with Company standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure WCE Procedures are available, maintained and updated as necessary.Responsible for maintaining WCE drawings.Raises the necessary corrective work orders and FDR for WCE failures.Assists Rig Management team putting together the spare WCE plan.Lead troubleshooting efforts for any subsea equipment failures, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Ensures all requirements listed here are followed when preparing to send equipment ashore."Follows the initial troubleshooting steps as defined in this section to either resolve the issue at hand or make sure initial recorded information is accurate and complete.Follows the Senior Subsea Supervisor roles and responsibilities outlined in the latest revision of the Subsea Handbook (HQS-TCS-HB-01)Personnel:
Promote and maintain good working relationships with other departments, third-party personnel and Customer representatives.Provide leadership and supervision to the subsea team, ensuring all personnel have the necessary skills and experience.Ensure all Maintenance personnel meet the training requirements as per their applicable training matrix.Mentor, coach, develop and train crew members.Provide leadership and motivation to the maintenance crews.Mentor the Subsea Supervisor and deputize when operations, security of well, and personnel safety are not at risk.Assist in training to ensure that all personnel are competent to perform their allocated jobs.Participate fully in the annual performance appraisal process.Apply appropriate accountability regarding recognition; recommend promotion or disciplinary action up to and including discharge.Manage Subsea Third Party and SWAT personnel during IBWM periodsSkills:
