Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Sr. Supply Chain Analyst optimizes inbound transportation processes, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and enhances collaboration with carriers, distribution centers, suppliers, and retailers. The role involves analyzing data, improving processes, guiding team members, and supporting KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with internal teams to improve transportation efficiency and achieve cross-functional goals while leveraging the Inbound systems tool of choice. Developing, managing, and refining Blueprint workflows.
Analyze data to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend actionable solutions. Develop freight solutions to enhance payload utilization, reduce costs, and improve on-time performance.
Analyze revenue margin impacts caused by freight inefficiencies and execute targeted corrective actions.
Develop reports to support both the internal business unit and other departments across the organization.
Maintain and manage databases, prepare insightful reports, and communicate findings to strengthen partnerships with internal and external customers and influence decision-makers effectively.
Deliver financial reports and actional root cause analysis to support our Accounting Team.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
· Strong knowledge of transportation and freight industry standards.
· Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint), databases (SQL), and tools like Arrowstream, Power BI, and Manhattan TMS.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
· Demonstrated ability to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and produce recommendations to management.
· Effective communication skills across all organizational levels, including leading calls with internal teams and external partners.
· Strong organizational, critical thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
· Ability to guide and mentor team members.
· Estimated travel: <5%.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· BA/BS in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
· Experience in food distribution, logistics, or transportation required.
