Job Description: Sr Supply Chain Data Analyst
Job Summary
Sr Data Analyst is a key supporting role for the Global Commodity Management (GCM) organization, reporting to the India Site Manager, providing critical data analysis and Supply Chain support as follows:
Support GCM (Global Commodity Managers) team for compiling, consolidating, and analyzing data for various Supply Chain initiatives, such as supplier forecasting, buffer stock analysis, RFQ preparation, negotiation and supplier quality matrix. On occasion these initiatives will involve engagement across multiple Supply Chain functions as well as other Trimble Business Units.
Represents GCM Team in a “Super User” role capacity for the DOMO database which consolidates the majority of critical cost, inventory, supplier non-conformance /closure time matrix and supply/demand data across multiple internal and external Supply Chains. This involves collaborating with the GCM and SQE’s to understand and co-develop data needs and then to drive Software / System developers to design, debug, and implement new reports.
Assist GCMs in the design, construction and management of RFQ packages including:
Compilation and consolidation of forecast and cost data
Download specification and part prints from Agile
Support/Manage “Reverse Auction” process
Analysis of supplier quotations, including modeling award savings by supplier, and time to savings ROI scenarios associated with awards requiring transitions, qualification and / or capital investment.
Will serve as a key contributor to participate in the ongoing evaluation, development and
implementation of new supply chain tools and processes to improve team efficiency and results.
Run Data management & analytics Projects as a Project Manager with cross functional stakeholders engagement following the Project Management Process through Smartsheet as the PM Tool.
Point person to coordinate and manage reverse auction and supplier spend analytics with external service provider(s).
Will serve as the project management focal to manage project requirements, ensure teams adhere to timelines, drive tactical activities on assigned supplier transitions.

Strong analytical skill, capable of analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data to support team initiatives.
Strong knowledge on supply chain business processes, ability to map, analyze and improve process efficiency.
Strong knowledge of Procurement, Sourcing, Production scheduling, MRP, APICS and inventory
management and experience in aspects of supplier quality management with emphasis on Supplier Performance Management in an Electronic manufacturing industry is a plus.
Able to work independently on assigned tasks and initiatives and meet set deadlines.
Proficiencies in Google Tools , Microsoft tools and MRP systems: Excel power user, Macro (VBA), Power Point, Google Scripts, Knowledge on creating workflow on SharePoint, DOMO,, Oracle, Agile.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
Ability to collaborate cross functionally and cross regionally.
Ability to work off shifts/work time as required

Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 10 years of experience with a focus on Supply Chain, Procurement & Production Planning field.
7 years or more work experience in Data Management/Analytics
Language Skills
Fluency in spoken and written English required.
PMP certification & APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are preferable.
