\nJob Purpose:
\nAs aSustainability Senior Analyst, you will lead sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the Americas region within DHL’s Corporate Real Estate (CRE) function. This role is at the heart of our environmental strategy—driving the implementation of sustainability programs, optimizing asset performance, and embedding energy conservation into real estate operations.
\nYou'll play a key role in supporting our global sustainability objectives through data-driven decision-making, strategic project leadership, and stakeholder engagement—all while promoting responsible and efficient real estate practices that minimize our environmental impact.
\nYour tasks:
\n\nLead and implement energy efficiency and sustainability projects across the CRE portfolio in the Americas.\nProvide technical support to CRE staff on mechanical and electrical systems to improve performance and energy efficiency.\nDrive energy monitoring, reporting, auditing, and verification processes; ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals.\nGuide asset management decisions based on lifecycle costing, environmental performance, and operational reliability.\nLead sustainable building assessments, including certification of carbon neutral buildings and on-site verifications.\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities through sustainable technologies and capital improvements in energy and water usage.\nPartner with project managers, facility teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment with best practices in environmental design and real estate sustainability.\nTrack and report performance metrics related to energy consumption, carbon reduction, and asset optimization.\nConduct workshops and training sessions on sustainability and energy management for internal stakeholders.\nAnalyze environmental performance data to identify opportunities and present findings and recommendations in formal reports.\nProvide strategic input into CRE planning, including energy procurement, maintenance strategies, and vendor performance.\n\nYour profile:
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification a plus.\n5–;7 years of hands-on experience in sustainability, facilities or energy management, preferably in a corporate real estate or logistics environment.Experience implementing asset and sustainability programs within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.\nStrong understanding of building systems, energy management, and real estate operations\nProficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, and SharePoint\nKnowledge of building codes, environmental standards, and carbon offset strategies\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nProven ability to lead change, work independently, and manage multiple priorities\nCustomer-focused, self-motivated, and results-oriented\nDemonstrated leadership in driving sustainability programs and engaging diverse stakeholders\n\n

Job Description
Responsible for Supply Chain North America carbon accounting along with researching and analyzing green technologies such as solar, green transportation and energy efficient warehouse practices. Executes carbon data analyses and annual internal audits through engagement with site operations, finance, corporate carbon accounting and performance metrics team.Role will provide technology and topical research and analysis in the area of GoGreen and decarbonization.
Responsibilities
-Compiles, analyzes and communicates GoGreen regional KPI data including trends present.
-Manages Scope 1 and 2 carbon accounting process. Performs monthly data plausibility checks and ensures North America meets data accuracy targets.
-Manages Scope 3 carbon accounting processes and continuously understands and communicates the trends being shown by the data.
-Works collaboratively with real estate to analyze solar projects and other energy efficiency solutions throughout North America.
-Works collaboratively with transportation team to research new technologies and analyze alternative fuel technologies.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
