We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!

This role sits in the Disney Signature Experiences – Disney Cruise Line (DCL) organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. It works closely with Cast and Crew from across the company. 

About The Role & Team:

The DCL Server team supports data centers on Disney Ships and locations around the world.   This includes hardware and software support

What You'll Do:

Operational Support for compute, storage and data protection servicesAssist in creation, documentation and implementation of day-to-day operational procedures.Provide system reports on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.Remediate Identified Security VulnerabilitiesDay to Day Support of Backups (Rubrik)Creates new user accounts, recovers lost passwords and keeps data secureImplements server maintenance standard operating proceduresDiagnoses and repairs server malfunctionsProvides management with regular reports

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of related work experienceA+ Certification or EquivalentSenior Level Experience and/or certifications in one or more: HP, Dell, EMC, Pure and/or Cisco storage and server solutionsCarries and maintains a relevant and up to date skill set in the areas of both Linux and x86 hardware technologyWindows, Linux, VMware, clustering technologies, resilient infrastructure design and deployment and automation.Senior-level knowledge of storage/server virtualization platforms (NSX, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)Individual must be highly resourceful and independent with the ability to quickly learn multiple disciplines and achieve manufacturer certification levelsExperience with CMDB systems such as Service-NowAvailability for Shipboard and Dry Dock travel at times.

Active Directory Group Policy ExpertiseAutomation Experience with Ansible or PythonContainerization Experience (Docker or Kubernetes)AVI Load balance ExperienceGlobal On-Call Experience for Physical Server Support

Required Education: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
