DescriptionThe System Integration Consultant leads the workstream responsible for 3rd party integrations, automations, and the implementation of complex Sabre products in agency conversion projects.
responsibilities:Takes ownership of Product portfolio blue-print from Sales Engineer and/or Product & Technology Consultant until deployment and setup is completedDocument and share best practices, and be the API subject matter expert for internal andexternal stakeholdersResponsibility for delivery of system integration at customer conversion projects from planning to deliveringPlanning - responsible for highly structured due diligence engagements to make it a successful transitiondetailed understanding of customers end-to- end business operation, technologies and system architecture including interfacesDesign of end-to-end workflow in accordance with operational improvements proposed by Sales Engineer and/or Product & Technology ConsultantDelivery of detailed technical business scoping document, which identifies all cutover critical elements and highlights risksDue Diligence executed in collaboration with Delivery LeadsDeliveryInstalls and configures complex and/or non-standard Sabre productsEnsures successful integration and configuration of all required interfaces (e.g. Mid/Back Office, Corporate Booking Engines etc.)Works closely with technology partners to ensure successful implementation and integration of their respective productsOwns Sabre installations in complex customer environments including network configurationExecutes in depth introductions and trainings to customers ambassadors for complex and/or non-standard Sabre or tech partner productsSupports change management processes to help the adaption to a new system environmentEngages other experts, developers, and resources as appropriate (Internal and external).Identifies new technical opportunities for products, services, and revenue generation to feedback to the Sabre product organizationCustomer onsite assistance with floorwalking in a day-to-day operations (responsibility for complex products and smooth operation of end-to-end workflow)Engages with Sales Engineer and/or Product & Technology Consultant during conversion as required to establish customer relationshipEnables smooth transition to Product & Technology Consultant once conversion is complete.Work closely with customer support teams & across all operational verticalsRole Perfromance metrics:Conversion performance against planOn-time deliveryCustomer satisfactionDelivery within planned budgetYOY efficiency gains in conversion approachProfessional Background:Proven technical experience in customer facing situations primarily focused on consulting positioning and implementing technical proposals and solutions within the travel industryVery strong Communication & presentation skills, experience engaging all levels both internal and external stakeholdersIn-depth experience of working with Corporate and Leisure travel agencies across the regionExperienced in interpreting complex technical requirements and articulate them and simplify them for commercial leadersStrong understanding of SOAP and REST API schema, design and webservicesTechnical expert of development tools, including API’s (SOAP, REST & GraphQL) Web ServicesKnowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, Visual Studio code and Reactjs preferredGood understanding of multi-tier application architecture and protocols, familiarity with product and software development processProactive approach to technical problem solving and customer engagementsAbility to analyze, identify and resolve complex problems in daily operationsAn innovative thinker who has the ability to approach situations from a different yet logical perspectiveDetailed knowledge of Sabre solutionsAbility to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervisionUnderstands the complexity of a fast-paced technology business and works well in a matrix organization.Fluent in English; further languages are a plusWe will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
