As a key member of the Life, Health, and Annuity Product Concept and Design team, the Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for configuring, automating, and optimizing business systems that support the development and delivery of Life, Health, and Annuity products.
In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external software vendors to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. A core responsibility of this position involves analyzing and interpreting product documentation to identify business rules, logic, and calculations, and accurately implement them within system configurations.
You will manage critical aspects of system setup and maintenance, including documentation, change control, configuration, data management, and related technical processes. Additionally, you will evaluate vendor platform capabilities, assess the impact of software upgrades, and recommend improvements to ensure systems remain aligned with evolving business and regulatory needs.
This position demands a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to deliver scalable, compliant, and value-driven system solutions.

Technical Configuration

As a Sr Systems/Platform Administrator you will interact with peers, engineers across product teams, vendors, and cross functional partners to ensure optimization of technology configuration and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience5+ years applicable experience. Engineering or experience administrating a business system is highly preferredDemonstrated leadership on mid-large scale projectsPreferred:
Financial Services industry experienceExperience working with Life, Health, Annuity, or Property & Casualty insurance products and systems, including familiarity with policy administrationExperience automating and configuring complex business systems, translating business rules and product documentation into technical system configurationsLearning agility, collaboration, analytical thinking, critical thinking, strong organizational skillsDiagnose, troubleshoot & perform repairs on responsible technologiesKnowledge and proficiency in the following technologies a plus: SQL, Java, SFTP, APIsPay Transparency
